Makenzie has been battling a low-grade brainstem tumor since February of 2006.

No Treatment This Week
Makenzie's white blood cell counts were too low so no chemo this week. Her hemoglobin and platelets were good though, so no blood transfusion. We're hoping a week off will help her feel a little better. They will try again next Wednesday.

Hi Kenzie: Hope you feel better by next week. It is finally raining a little bit. Grandpa picked some squash in his garden. It was really good. Patch is still growing and getting bigger and bigger. I love seeing the pictures of you and your bothers. Your visit to the Stuffington Bear Factory and Ch 3 looked like fun. Aunt Irene had a meeting in Sierra Vista today and we talked about how much we love you and your family. Uncle Steve and I love you very much and you are always in our prayers!
